Plot: Giacomo is trying to survive. Everyone is after Supreme Creator Nerezza arose to the throne and became ruler of Zizzola., one of the three nations/continents of the planet. Nerezza has made a decree that all artists be captured and that their geniuses, birds with crowns that amplify the power of their artists, be killed. Giacomo has been living in hiding for years ever since his parents died, scavenging and stealing to survive. But one fateful day, Giacomo’s genius appears when he needs him most. Suddenly, a group of other kids with geniuses appear to Giacomo and take him to a villa where they learn sacred geometry with their geniuses and are taught by a once great but now blind artist. These few rebels have a mission: find the Creator’s sacred tools and use them to restore peace to Zizzola, kick out Nerezza, and save artists all over the world. Will they succeed? Read the book to find out!

Likes: I liked this book since it had suspense and action that most kids would like. The whole idea of a universe in which art was central to everything was very interesting to me. The plot was created well, and the story was intriguing.

Recommendations: I recommend this book to ages 9 and up, since younger children won’t understand the book as well. Anyone who takes a liking to art will like this book.
