Plot: This is a book by Suzanne Collins. It is about a teenager, Katniss Everdeen, who is forced to participate in the capital’s cruel Hunger Games. Hunger Games is a tournament in which 24 tributes are chosen to fight each other to their death in this ever-changing arena. Only one will triumph and the rest will succumb. Early in the game Katniss puts her survival skills to the test and tries her best to survive the Hunger Games.
Likes: I like this book because it is fast-paced with loads of action and suspense. Also, it is a more challenging read than most other books kids read due to its story line and action. It has some gruesome details and it is extremely exciting!
Recommendation: I recommend this book to ages 11 and above due to its content being gruesome and action-packed and is not suitable for younger children. I love this book and have read the entire series multiple times!
