Murder on the Orient Express

Plot: This book was written by Agatha Christie. Hercule Poirot is on a train in Europe, when a snowdrift blocks the railroad tracks and derails the train. A passenger known only as Mr. Ratchett lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, with his window open and his door locked from the inside. Poirot, a world renowned detective, must find out who murdered Ratchett and why. And he must act fast, for the murderer is one of the dozen passengers on the train, waiting to strike again.

Likes: I like this book since it incorporates the best parts of mystery and suspense, which are beautifully wrapped together in an intricately crafted plot. The story is intriguing, and each word makes the reader turn the page and keep on reading.

Recommendations: I recommend this book to ages 12 and above, since the details of the murder are a little graphic and the book would be hard to understand for younger readers.
