Plot: This is the third book of the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter has evaded Voldemort twice, and survived/killed a basilisk last year. Now, Harry is back to an alarming sight at Hogwarts. The wizard school has been surrounded by dementors, the prison guards of the wizard jail, Azkaban. They’re looking for an escaped prisoner, who’s name is Sirius Black. He was known for blowing up 13 people on a street with a single curse, and some believe he was one of You-Know-Who’s supporters. The prisoner was often heard saying, “He’s at Hogwarts…He’s at Hogwarts”, in his sleep. Everyone has been warning Harry to not go looking for him, and Harry has no intention of doing that. But what if Sirius is looking for him? What if Harry is Sirius’s next target? Read the book to find out…
Likes: I like this book since it has all the components of a good fantasy book and is a befitting sequel to its older counterparts. The book combines suspense and action and adds a large amount of magical shenanigans to create a novel that captures the reader.
Recommendations: I recommend this book to kids of age 8 and up since they will like the story and plot of this book. Anyone who has read the first two books will definitely enjoy the third installment into the Harry Potter series.
