Plot: Percy Jackson has a unusually calm school year, compared to his last year where he vaporized his algebra school teacher. But when a simple dodgeball game turns into a cannibalism brawl, Percy’s year is absolutely ruined. He goes to camp Half-blood and his friend Annabeth tells him something shocking-Thalia’s Pine tree is dying! If it dies, Camp Half-blood, the only safe haven for demigods, will be destroyed. They have to find the golden fleece before the end of Camp Half-blood is a reality.
Likes: I like this book because it is one of my new favorite series, Percy Jackson and it has a lot of action and adventure. Also, it is a really nice chapter book story, with a really interesting plot.
Recommendations: I recommend this book to kids 9 years of age, those who have read the first book.
