Plot: This big book of Asterix contains 3 classic graphic novels by R. Goscinny and A. Uderzo in 1. The stories are Asterix and the Big Fight, Asterix in Britain and Asterix and the Normans. In Asterix and the Big Fight, the Gaulish villager chief, Vitalstatistix, is challenged by a Gaulo-Roman chief, named Cassius Ceramix. But will Vitalstatistix be able to defeat Cassius Ceramix without the magic potion? The second book is Asterix in Britain. The Romans have decided to conquer Britain. One tiny village in the whole country has been fighting back the invaders, but they decided to get Anticlimax’s first cousin, Asterix to give them some of the magic potion. Asterix and his friend, Obelix, decide to help Anticlimax take the barrel of magic potion to Britain, but almost everywhere they are thwarted. The third book is Asterix and the Normans. Vitalstatistix’s nephew, Justforkix has been kidnapped and held hostage by the Normans. Asterix and his friend Obelix decide to rescue Justforkix.
Likes: I like this book because I like reading Asterix and this is a great graphic novel! The illustrations are very colorful and funny. In the last book, even tough the Normans are fighting Asterix and Obelix, they help them completely destroy a Roman patrol! The three stories are very very funny!
Recommendation: I recommend this book to ages 8 and up. Anyone who has read Asterix will for sure love this one!
