This is a picture book by Brandon Stanton. Each page depicts kids in different kinds of clothing, doing something different, having different skin colors, of different body shapes, from different cultural backgrounds, showing different emotions and possibly from different countries. The only thing common is they are all kids- the little humans! In one photo there is a little kid picking up his bike that fell on the ground, in another photo a little kid and his pet dog are dressed as super heroes. The book describes what actually these little humans can do.
Likes: I like this book because it has some funny and cute photos of kids. The book teaches kids that just because you’re older than someone, it doesn’t mean that the younger kid is less capable of you. It also teaches kids and adults to be open minded to kids from different backgrounds and people who may look different from us. Our appearances do not matter. The only thing that matters is who you on the inside and what you can do. Little humans have emotions, strengths, and aspirations too!
Recommendation: I recommend this book to kids 4 years and older. Parents can read this cute book with pictures to their kids and explain what it means. I think they will enjoy it. Older kids can read it themselves. This book was a present for my 7th birthday and I still like it.
