This Amar Chitra Katha book has five stories about some of the bravest warriors in India. These are stories about The Rani of Kittur, Rani of Jhansi, Tipu Sultan, Velu Thampi and Kunwar Singh. Rani Chenamma of Kittur who answered the British request for friendship by waging war against them until the end, Rani of Jhansi, or Rani Laxmibai vowed to never give up Jhansi to British and struck fear in their hearts until she died, Tipu Sultan was a huge mountain of strength who rained avalanches and boulders onto the British until he was betrayed by his own General. Velu Thampi was the Dewan of Travancore, who would not stand the rudeness and arrogance of the East India Company. Kunwar Singh, at the age of 75, decided to fight the British till his death.
