From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler

Plot: This book by E.L. Konigsburg is about two kids who run away from their home and their stingy parents and live at the museum. Turns out they have a mystery to solve. Claudia and her brother, Jamie run away from home and live at he Metropolitan Museum of Art in the city of New York. They find out that a statue called Angel is being investigated whether or not it was made by Michelangelo.

Likes: I like this book because it is full of mystery along with a bit of humor. The language is a little complex so that makes it challenging and fun to read. The book is about two runaway kids and their adventures.

Recommendation: I recommend this Newbery Award winning book to anyone who loves mystery and Robinson Crusoe like adventure. I think kids 9 years and older will really enjoy this book. This book improved my vocabulary so I would recommend this if you want to enhance your reading skills.
