Plot: This book is written by Steve Smallman. In this book, Santa is going to deliver lots and lots of gifts to all homes in San Jose, California on Christmas eve! It begins with a conversation between and Santa and an elf. Santa is wondering of all the children in San Jose have been good this year. He puts the gifts on his sleigh and off he goes! He flies over the Arctic Ocean, over Canada, Portland and past San Francisco. He crosses Levis Stadium, Plaza de César Chávez, and finally steers safely over the Children’s Discovery Museum, Happy Hollow Zoo and lands into Kelley Park. Soon Santa is delivering presents to kids in San Jose!
Likes: I like this book because it brings Christmas cheer at any time of the year! No matter the season, every time you read this book, it reminds you of Christmas. This book is special to me because it’s about my city, San Jose.
Recommendation: I recommend this book specially during the holidays, as a good bedtime story, read- along or even a Christmas present. Parents can read the story to their young kids while older kids can read it by themselves.
