This book will tell you some amazing rescue stories of cute and funny animals. Some of the animals rescued were a cat named Manny, who was a homeless black cat, a pig name Chris P. Bacon, who was born with hind legs that didn’t work, a dog named Sammy who ran away from his original owners who didn’t care for him, and many more. The book has photos with names of every animal that was rescued, along with their stories.
Likes: I like this book because some pictures are very funny and the rescue stories are interesting. Some of my favorite cats are Pwdditat, Nala, and Roosevelt. The book talks about a variety of animals like dogs, cats, birds, donkeys, horse, etc. There’s even a dog that took care of a kitten and that kitten instead of purring would wag his tail!
Recommendation: I recommend this book to not just kids, but to anyone who loves animals! I think kids 6 years and up will specially enjoy this book, but it’s really for everybody.
