This book will take you into the medieval times and help you hear the sounds of a machine gun-just by reading it you can feel the vibrations! From active denial systems to illustrated diagrams of the 18000 battles, what infantry is, what artillery is, who the rapid fire were, and much much more. This book talks about a lot of battles, for example- it features battles from 1700s, 1800s, and some wars in recent times. Some of the examples of battles this book talks about are The Battle of Gettysburg, Cajamarca, the battle of Waterloo, the battle of Stalingrad, war of Huai-Hai, etc.
Likes: I like this book because it is very interesting! The book describes the battles very well. The illustrations too are very good. There are real photos for every weapon and person mentioned in the book. That leads to better understanding.
Recommendation: I recommend this book to anyone who loves guns, cannons, battles and stuff related to wars. I would say kids 7 and up will understand and enjoy the book.
