In Medieval India, there were hundreds of tiny kingdoms that began petty wars to protect their territory and capture territories that belonged to others. This book talks about Tachcholi Othenan, Kochunni-who both had to fight injustices in their own lands, Chenamma of Keladi who had to fight her neighboring kingdom, Hakka and Bukka who founded the Vijaynagar empire and Rani Abbakka, who fought for her people against the mighty Portugese.
Likes: I like this book because the text is perfect for 8 year olds and the pictures are very vivid and colorful. It is a very interesting book.
Recommendation: I recommend this book because it is very interesting and it can help people learn about Indian history.
