When I Was a Boy

This is an autobiography of Ruskin Bond, an Anglo-Indian raised in India, who grew up to be a famous writer. The book talks about everything about his childhood, from when he was a baby to the age of 16 or 18 years. It talks about when he went on a plane, an Arab dhow( a type of boat), his life in Mussoourie, Simla, Jamnagar and Dehradun in India.

Likes: I like this book because it is an autobiography and the main idea of the book is very interesting. I also like this book because it is about one of my favorite authors, Ruskin Bond. The book has childhood stories from Ruskin Bond’s life, some are funny while others are serious. The book also has illustrations related to some incidents.

Recommendation: I recommend this book because the text is easy to read and the illustrations are super vivid and colorful!
