Amar Chitra Katha- Great Indian Emperors

This book by Amar Chitra Katha is about few of the most important kings of India- Ashoka, Samudra Gupta and Harsha. The book talks about Ashoka, the king who became a follower of Buddhism later in his life. Samudra Gupta was a king who could both fight and play the lute. King Harsha was a learned king who, in later life would only fight if needed. He was a peace-loving king.

Likes: I like this book because it tells a story about the three kings mentioned above. At the start of each story, there is a short introduction of each of these great emperors.

Recommendation:I recommend this book because the text is easy to read and the pictures are colorful. I also recommend this book because each story has a comic twist to it! I think kids will learn a lot from this book.
