Plot: This book by Mary Pope Osborne is a part of the Magic Tree House Merlin Missions series. Jack and Annie are two kids in Frog Creek, Pennsylvania. One day, they find a magic tree house that will take them anywhere they wish to go and no time would pass at all in Frog Creek. They find a note in the tree house that says,” please come to Camelot.” Before they know who sent it, the magic tree house sends them off to Camelot! King Arthur is injured and his castle is under attack. Other than King Arthur and Queen Guinevere, their Camelot friends are stuck in Avalon. When the castle is raided by the invaders, they steal the golden dragon statue that opens up the portal to Avalon. Jack and Annie need to save the kingdom and the king. Likes: I like this book because it has a little bit of fantasy and fiction and the text is easy to understand. I also like this book because every now and then in the book there is a picture, but it’s in black and white.
Recommendation: I recommend this book because it has a riddle in the end and a sneak peak of a fact tracker that goes with this book.
